wrestling rules

These are not exactly the ones our group will be using (I don't think), but it's useful to look at if you are unfamiliar with wrestling or how scoring is done.  Got it from a fellow wrestling parent from the Park School years ago (sorry, cannot remember who!).

'Tis the Season!

It's official: wrestling season has begun. The team hosted an Open Mat Night last night, and everyone seemed to have a good time.  Coaches Van Duzer, Williams, and Hile introduced themselves and ran drills, demonstrated moves, and refereed some crazy skill-building games.

Anyone interested in signing up for the season should do so ASAP; the shirts will be ordered soon and it's expensive to add to the initial order.

Next practice is Thursday p.m. at 7.05. Bring your outgrown shoes and we will have a shoe swap!
